Call for submissions!
Stage 88 is currently accepting submissions for their 2022/23 season (to be performed between May 2022 and May 2023) and beyond. The offerings may include a main stage show at the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts in Brantford.
We are looking for individuals who have a passion for directing and have a play they’ve been dying to bring to the stage.
At this time, we are accepting scripts to be considered. If you have something you would like to direct, please send us a brief synopsis, any casting requirements, the basic staging of the show, as well as why you want to direct this show for Stage 88.
Any show submitted may be considered as a “main stage show”.

Mission:
Stage 88, born of the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts, is a theatrical performance company that entertains while fostering and enhancing cultural experiences by providing professional calibre productions.
Vision:
Stage 88 will be a stable and ever-expanding force for cultural growth through:
-Adhering to a set season of shows
-Increasing education outreach and youth participation
-Building upon the talent base in both cast and crew
-Growing and developing our audience base
Purpose:
Stage 88 will:
-Produce quality shows within a variety of theatre experiences
-Address relevant social issues through theatre
-Foster a safe, professional, and inclusive environment
-Encourage personal and creative growth
-Have fun
